captain marvel
forgot to post this on friday. it was for drawergeeks that day.
i know some people think shazam is actually another name for captain marvel, but it’s actually the name of the wizard that grants billy batson his powers. i thought it would be funny if every now and then shazam played a joke on poor billy.

Oh I didn’t know that. Silly Shazam and his confusing name. Doesn’t he appear anytime someone shouts “Shazam!” or maybe that’s another superhero.

Man, I have to get my superhero facts straight.
I just got your book and the word IMPRESSIVE comes to mind. It is so fun to see your stuff on the printed page! I can’t wait to read it. I have to say, you have me big time inspired to start some comic stuff. I have ideas rolling around my brain and it may be time to let them out.

billy batson is just a boy that gets granted all these powers by the wizard shazam. when he shouts the wizards name, lighting hits him and transforms him into full-grown captain marvel, costume and all. of course this actually works the other way too, transforming captain marvel back into billy. so really, according to my drawing, he should be transforming back in to billy any time now.
