parable cover
i just (finally) updated the parable site with the cover for the anthology:
the idea for the cover came from matt yokom and is based on matthew 5 :14-16 :
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
there might still be some tweaks done to it before it sees print, but this is pretty much it. for those that would like a larger version of it you can download a 1200px version here. while i was at it, i decided to also make one desktop size that you can download here.

thank you so much everyone! i’m really excited about this anthology and the cover was an important thing to get right in order to get other people excited about it as well. your comments really helped ease some of my doubts about it. :)
i’ve actually tweaked this a bit since i last posted it based on some suggestions by some of the other parablers. there’s now more of a focus on the lighted house and the surrounding area, some small variation of the birds and some other tweaks too subtle to even mention. so if any of you liked this enough to download the larger versions, i’ve saved new versions over top of the old ones for you.

This is so great! I love the way you developed the concept of a city on a hill and made it into something very creative. ;) Great job on the poster and on the Parable site.

i love how u how you did the clouds, lovely colouring and layout of the whole thing. really nice.
