Holy bad parent, Batman! Sorry for the abandonment of this blog lately! Upon returning from HeroesCon, and in the wake of selling out of all my Cleopatra in Space preview books, I made a last minute decision to print up ALL of Cleo Chapter 1—complete with tons of extra features—for SDCC next month. Because of this (and starting Cleo Chapter 2), I just haven’t had a lot of time to work on much else. Except finishing up these super fun Iron Man 2 AP cards:

What a blast. Thanks to everyone who bought one! I actually still have 2 blanks left that no one has claimed yet. So if any of you out there want one, just drop me a line.

These actually conclude my commission requests for the time being. I’m taking the month “off” to focus on Cleo and some con preparation. But I’m sure I’ll be back to taking on more commissions by the summer. Just keep an eye on my store or twitter feed for details. And thanks to all of you for the requests so far! As always, they are a joy to draw.

Drew some more sketch cards! This time for the Iron Man 2 movie set coming out uh… next year I guess. I only did 10 this time around so I decided to do something I haven’t done since my college art school days: paint traditionally! This meant dusting off my old paints and brushes and trying to remember how to use them again. It was fun!

this might be one of the funnest commissions i’ve drawn yet. i was asked to draw six sketch cards: definitely a nightcrawler, a collossus and a cow & buffalo one, but the rest were up to me. since curtis was pretty relaxed about whatever i decided to draw, i thought it would be fun to have all of the cards fit together to form one scene—because then i had an excuse to finally draw c&b as part of the x-men. :)

if anyone is interested i am still taking b&w sketch card commissions for $10 a card (or $15 for multiple characters). i have a blast drawing these!

joel carroll and i recently (well, i guess its been over a month now) did a sketchcard trade. he drew me a galactus, and i drew him this power girl:

he didn’t get a colored version though since i’ve yet to find a way to digitally color on a sketchcard. i was just in a coloring mood this morning and needed something to color.

in case anyone is interested in a black & white card sized commission, i’ve been drawing them for about $10 lately. or trading. obviously.
