yes! cow & buffalo has a new website! we are now super powered using the fantastic abilities of comicpress. BIG thanks to Tyler Martin for his help in creating this template for me to use and for just being a super nice guy.
so what’s new? well, you’ll notice the drop down menu is gone. it’s existence became pointless thanks to the comicpress archive system. now you can search by name, date or just scroll down to look for the strip you want (kinda like before). those little arrows above the strip take the place of my old ones or you can just click on the previous or next comic lnks below each strip (uh.. also kinda like before). there’s also a new links list for other webcomics i enjoy. you know… every thing’s pretty self-explanatory. the main differences are just how i load my comics each week and that you can comment on them now. so comment! i want to know what you’re thinking! just as long as it doesn’t involve cattle prodding and/or oprah.
if you’re reading this today, sunday, then you’ll notice the “it’s almost lunchtime” thing over there to the right. come back tomorrow to see what that’s all about. if it’s monday or later for you, then you’re already looking at some sort of strange lunchbox. some of you might even be here because of it (if so, welcome!). if not, go ahead and click it. you won’t be disappointed. i’ll talk more about it next week. for right now, i’ll just mention what an honor it is to be part of such a great group.
um… that’s it i guess. i actually posted this on thursday night. i’m not even near a computer right now. in fact. i’m probably on my way from cleveland to columbus right now driving with jen in our rental car. how cool is that?

Awesome, Mike! I know you’re gonna like it.
But I wanna know: how’s the admin panel for Comicpress? I’ve never really used it, considering I tricked out D&C‘s WordPress install a year before Comicpress was ever a twinkle in Tyler Martin’s eye. I don’t know if I should switch and leave the development to someone else, or keep (sporadically) updating my own plugin. =/
Also, I can’t end without mentioning how much I love C&B. But of course.

Need to break these comments in!
Great storyline, I’m loving this. :-)

jeston- thanks! and i do! the admin panel is just a wordpress admin. no different. so if you’re familiar with that, comicpress is exactly the same. i love derrick’s site though, so if that works for you i say don’t fix what isn’t broke!
tyler- thanks, man!
