Sunday, September 9th, 2007UPDATE! cow & buffalo won’t be new next week. instead i’ll have a very special guest strip on monday the 17th. just thought i’d let those of you who make a visit here on sundays know. :)
——————–
no joke! they are finally off those clouds! maybe not in the way they intended to be, but hopefully they’ll solve that dilemma next week.
i also wanted to give you all a sneak peek of who will be traveling with me to conventions from now on:
yes- those are life sized cardboard stand-ups of everyone’s favorite bovine duo (they are everyone’s favorite bovine duo, right?) courtesy of my good pal matt yokom. buffalo stands at 77 inches. taller than me! which isn’t really saying much, but still- that’s pretty tall.
the first chance you’ll be able to see them will be at the mid-ohio-con thanksgiving weekend. hopefully all three of us will see some of you there!

Ok, so am I the only one who finds it a little strange that they can walk on, and the helicopter can sit on the clouds, but as soon as it gets lift, it falls through? Only C & B. He was right though, superheroes always get to do the cool stuff.
I can’t wait to see the life-sized cutouts. Awesome !

WOWW! 77 inches of bovine fun.
It will be no picknick travelling with them on the next airplane chair, I’ll tell ya… but the conventions will be 770% more fun now!!!!
congrats on the beautiful cardboard stand-ups, Mike!!

Why? Oh why are the comic cons always way out there in the country? I don’t know much about them but it would be cool to go to one or six. Are there ever any on the east coast? Your life size (actually taller than your life size) stand-ups look awesome.

bruna- yeah i’m gonna have to fold them. :( still- they should provide fun company at my tables!
jim- well, i was in NY in june, and i’ll be in orlando next march. guess i should try to make it somewhere inbetween next year as well…
