just to bring everyone up to speed…
i think buffalo is just threatened by anyone who’s even the slightest bit smarter than he is, or smarter than buffalo thinks he is (honestly, buffalo is not really as smart as he thinks he is). at least that’s all i can come up with for this unmerited animosity that buffalo seems to have against andrew. that, or he just has a thing against giraffes. it still amazes me the way these characters react to each other regardless of any of my intentions. they really do have a life of their own.
btw- today is jen and i’s six year anniversary. jen- i love you about 22,000 times more now than i did the day we got married. you are my best friend, my favorite person to look at and you make really good cake.
it is also mom day. mom i love you too.
ice cream- i love you too. i didn’t want you to feel left out.

Personally, I was a fan of the fourth panel. I love when your characters can say so much without saying anything at all. It reminded me of how hilarious it was when you took that one strip a while back, and took all but one character out of it, creating 3 different versions. Buffalo was priceless with 5 frames of no dialogue, just facial expressions. It was one of my favorites.

First off, congrats to both you and Jen on your wedding anniversary!
Second, Andrew’s recap is incomplete. He failed to mention Cabbie’s sheer awesomeness.
Thirdly, The Mummy 2 has better action scenes than the first Mummy. This relates in no way to anything mentioned in your post, but one thing we all learned from Star Wars is things are best done in trilogy format.
Another thing we learned from Star Wars: Do NOT, under any circumstances, let Lucas direct :P

The giraffe is sooo funny. but i hope we see a bit more of cabbie soon. because keath is right cabbie is AWSOME! He and the aliens should get abducted by bats because bats are also Awsome. not as AWSOME as cabbie of course. cuz cabbie is AWSOME! (in capital letters) and bats are only Awsome. (only begins with a capital). hope that made some sense to somebody.

Mike, your explanation of buffalo’s feelings are good. It also completely explains why he is best friends with Cow. It is totally normal for an alpha male to feel threatened by another… until one day something crazy and dramatic happens and they realize their subbornness is really just getting in the way of the best friend they could ever have! Maybe something drastic like saving friends from aliens… idk, I’m just sayin’….
