waaay in the future, when excavators are brushing off the last remains of this century’s ancient treasures, they will find some perfectly preserved database with this comic on it. they won’t understand it, they might not even like it, but one thing is for certain: my comic is going to give them a huge craving for sandwiches and cookies.

so torry is loosely based (moosely based?) on my friend and comedian torry martin, whom i met at that gideon conference i presented at last month. torry mentioned his nickname was moose… i was planning on introducing a moose character… the rest, as this week’s strip so uninspiredly says, is history.
